It’s a divine experience to follow as we read the lyrics and listen to you… But yours is something out of the box! It’s appreciable that musicians like YOU come out with such a multitude of innovations and make an honest effort to popularise such worthy compositions in thamizh.
I’m speechless.I too chant the original version of ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ regularly. Maddy Mama’s come here and he asked me to listen to your rendition…. I’d posted 1 comment last year and this is my 2nd one. Tried to hear it along with Smt.M.S.Subbalakshmi’s version – the first invocation para ” Shri Guru Charana” was perfectly in line – you must have practised quite a lot to make the tamizh words fit in place.Ĭredits also go to Mr.P.Senthilkumar, for the beautiful translation. Think this song will go down well with both the old ( for the quality )and this gen folks( as its not in pure tamil, but with words like “Anthima Kalathil”, that make the song sound different):-). The way you sing, stressing on “Annayi Jaaaanaki” at 7:53 and 8:12, is so nice to hear !
Heard it a few more times, and had a sense of wholeness being able to comprehend what the whole song meant …. So, after “Kurai Ondrum Illai”, this is another song that you are making popular in the lines of M.S. I hope many people come to know about availability of such an album, as many would sure want to know the whole meaning, even as they listen. Woke up on Saturday morning and the one of the first things did was to hear to this – its very good !! You sure are lucky to be blessed with this opportunity to render this great work in tamizh.
